First Global St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Competition
Day 1 at the Festival Arena in Dubai: First Global Robotics Opening Ceremony
The St Kitts and Nevis Robotics Team arrived at the Festival City Arena with a proud look on their faces, observing the welcoming faces from all the countries in the world. It seemed like a dream they said. The team was awoken by the reality that they are actually here in Dubai, and it was time to set the pace. The thought of not being accepted had always been a lingering thought for countries but that has never been a focal point for the event. However, each country was open and curious to find out about each other.
Dr. Neil stated that entering the arena represents a convergence of cultures, faces, races, languages actions and body languages and that all of this brings the point home that we are only one people sharing one world. He went on further to say that, “this confirms that the mission of First Global is true; this is not just a competition but to bring the world together with the sole mission of pulling young people together to foster a better future.”
During the opening ceremony, the Dubai organizers put on the greatest show that First Global has ever seen. IITAE Ltd. must report that it was amazing to watch. The opening ceremony emphasized the theme for the 2019 challenge, “Ocean Opportunity”. From the beginning to the end of the ceremony was an exhibition great technological art fused with 3D technology.
At the end of the ceremony, one of First Global’s biggest investors and supporters put on a show for the thousands of young people present. This investor was none other than William. He rocked the event with songs coupled with a technological emphasis.
